Brand AndAndAnd (&&&™)
Brand AndAndAnd (&&&™) was founded by Graphic Designer Simon Brown. Brown collides his understanding of London streetwear with luxury fashion, co-creating graphic wearables with an eclectic group of collaborators.
The label’s off-season capsules are time-stamped collections of cultural artifacts, informed by the contemporary mainstream. Their purpose is to contribute to a shift in ideas and customs, making the everyday radical. Simon Brown’s design thinking around individuality and identity is embodied in Brand AndAndAnd’s first capsule 'C.I.H.A.&.I.M.U?' (Can I Have An & In My Username?).
Simon Brown is a Graphic Designer whose work combines experimental thinking with an absolute understanding of the cultural mainstream. For the past two decades, Brown’s design work has been in dialogue with the contemporary moment, influencing and being influenced by it.
That conversation has taken him around the world, from exclusive talks at the Barbican Art Gallery to his Serpentine Galleries’ Marathon series design work to being selected by Hans Ulrich Obrist as a featured artists in the now legendary Parisian streetwear store Colette.
Brown is woven into the global network of contemporary artists, designers, and thinkers. He designed Rem Koolhaas’s “Content” the seminal book and exhibition showcasing the innovation of OMA-AMO. He was a creative consultant for Virgil Abloh’s book “Artwork”, as well as co-creating an exclusive apparel capsule and font design for Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition at MCA Chicago.
